Hey everyone! After using Eatventure and introducing it to others for about 2 months, I noticed something interesting – how different people with varied backgrounds and at different stages of life use the app! Just goes to show how Eatventure caters to different needs and build our heartwarming little community :)
Adult colleagues
For my colleagues who have been working here for two years and works from office Mon-Fri, finding a place to have lunch everyday can be quite tiring. Given that they have also already visited many places, having an app to track their review of each place, remember the good ones AND bad ones, and have reliable recommendations from other users is really convenient. This helps to not only filter out the best places to have lunch everyday, but implicitly add a layer of excitement to lunch time as we anticipate the performance of a new restaurant. Just today, we had lunch at a new restaurant in the area but unfortunately, was met with expensive prices and subpar service, to which XM said she will vent her frustration by giving them a poor rating on Eatventure, and avoid coming back again.
The app also just introduced a new function: to create foodie lists! This lets users categorise places they’ve been to by themes to improve the record-keeping experience, and there’s no limit to how many lists you can create. In case users come across a list they like, they can also follow it and keep abreast of updates by in-app notifications. Safe to say that the whole office is now keeping tabs on this list 👀
Kidult fresh grads
Obviously, we try to maximise the fun-employed period as fresh grads to properly celebrate the end of a long education journey, and so everyone starts jetting off once school ends. And what do we do the most when overseas? Eat, of course! Nothing hits harder than trying out trending cafes overseas or authentic dishes from various cultures. Hence, my friends and I actively post a shoutout on Eatventure when nomming overseas to commemorate their travels. Since each shoutout also leaves a little pin on the world map, we can visually track our past eats and see how we’ve conquered the world through our taste buds (^_~). A vastly different use compared to my full-time colleagues who are responsibly at work, but they say being young is the time to enjoy oneself before locking in and locking down at the workplace … I think … 🤭
In all, this cheeky contrast between kidults and working adults goes to show that Eatventure is a handy app that can seamlessly integrate into our daily lives, regardless of our backgrounds because eating is after all, an indispensable aspect of living, and has many functions that cater to our needs and spice up our foodie adventures (pun intended). Come join us on Eatventure to share the joy in dining today!
